FULL CONTACT JUJITSU RULES

The state of Michigan now regulates all fighters MUST have a blood test within 12 months prior to any fights.  All fighters MUST test NEGATIVE for:

HIV

HEPATITIS B

HEPATITIS C

Blood test results and a fighter form are to be submitted to us by email or fax PRIOR to any fight.  If we do not receive both forms, YOU WILL NOT FIGHT!

Copies of blood test results will be kept on file for any future fight.  Blood test results are good for 1 year.

bulletFighters, Referee, Doctor and Fighters Corner can stop match.
bulletAll competitors must be at least 18 years of age.
bulletDoctor must approve all competitors.
bulletAll bouts consist of three, 3-minute rounds.

ILLEGAL TECHNIQUES

Violation of any of the following rules will result in point deduction or disqualification.

bulletHead butts
bulletGroin strikes
bulletStrikes to the neck, spine, or back of head
bulletKnees to the back of the head
bulletHair pulling
bulletEye gouging
bullet Full Closed fists while standing

Biting

bulletGrabbing the fence or poles
bulletThe use of liniments or any other foreign substances
bulletFish hooking
bulletSmall joint manipulation
bulletKnees to the head on the ground
bulletFoot stomping opponent when opponent is on the ground
bulletStriking with the point of the elbow

LEGAL TECHNIQUES

bullet Open hand striking or kicking to the head while standing
bullet Open hand striking to the body and legs while standing
bulletKnees to the head, body and legs. (NO knees to the head while on the ground.)
bulletStriking on the ground is legal. (NO striking to the back of the head.)
bulletSubmission including arm bars, leg locks and chokes.
bulletFoot stomping while standing.

  • If a competitor becomes unbalanced or dizzy due to a blow or kick the referee will stop the match.
  • The competitors must obey the referee and adheres to the rules at all times or face point deductions or face disqualifications.
  • If the match goes to the ground there shall be no stalling.
  • The match will stay on the ground at the discretion of the referee.
  • If fence or poles become interference the referee will stop the match and move competitors to the center of the cage in the same position to continue the match.
